Cat & Fiddle V - Saturday 16th December 2006

Well, since my new wheels are here early, the fifth C&F meet is now likely to take place! I say likely, I just need to confirm with the landlord at the C&F and find a suitable lunch venue (the Red Lion requires at least 20 attendees really).

It'll be the usual 11:30am meet at the Cat and Fiddle (you should all know where it is by now!), short drive - lunch - longer drive (hopefully not getting split up this time

).

I've changed this to Sunday 17th December - there is another good reason behind this, the Red Lion is open on Sundays regardless I believe

Got the works doo the night before so I won't be in any fit state to walk let alone drive.

Shame as I drive by the damned place every day on my commute between Chesterfield and Knutsford. Nice road

Got my average MPG in the diesel for the trip down to 21mpg for the whole run

Quickest time between bottom of C&F in Buxton to crossroad with lights at the bottom in Macclesfield - 16 minutes - MUST TRY HARDER

No worries mate, this meet is an 'extra' in that I wasn't intending on doing one until the new year, so I appreciate that the short notice will restrict who can attend.

Incidentally, this will be a year's anniversary to the first Cat & Fiddle meet to the day!
