BTW, Steve, I'm still wondering how I ended up so far ahead of you on the M6 when you left at least 20 minutes before me and I had a sick car that wouldn't run properly.

can't help with the child but I filled up when I started out and when I got to the cat and Fiddle the readout said 580 miles left in the tank

I filled up before I left for C&F, and managed to squeeze in £45 at Keele! Must have averaged about 35mpg over 300 miles!

We didn't have a very successful meet tbh.
I would have rather come in my car as it's more betterer then the wifes, but as the clutch is a bit thin I left it sulking at home.
Then we got lost on the way to Mam Tor, the human sat nav forgot her glasses.
Then we got lost on the way to Shiftys, ( stupid Road Angel, don't buy one...How the hell can you turn 'slightly left?)
But I managed to quaff a large amount of Saxon cider in my local, so it wasn't a total disaster
'Twas nice to see a few new faces though, I hope I was miserable enough for everyone
