Well I wont be using the RAC route planner to get there! it's told me it's 130 miles and it'll take me 3 hours lol! Its taken me to the M1 near Nottingham lol. Does C&F have a postcode?

SK11 0 A537

M6 to jct 19 knutsford then follow signs to macclesfield then to a537 buxton.

Isn't 3 hours good for you!

lol i googled for the postcode and tried again and it said and hour and a half lol. I'm just worried about when I come off the m/way as they are pretty simple to follow, but I remember going through loads of towns then all those country roads....I wouldn't stand a chance!!!

Once you get off M6 at knutsford,macclesfield is sign posted and you just follow the a537 until you get to macc.If you want i can meet you on a537 as you enter macc and you can follow me from their.

a) because im determined to get my phone sat nav to work
b) because there isn't any sat nav coverage over the c&f. The first time we tried to get there by sat nav it told us to refer to the map

Er Satnav (GPS) coverage is just there. It's global.

The only reason I can think of for the failure you experienced was that the maps were incomplete or not loaded correctly on the particular device you were using.

Hand over your pennies to Nokia and you'll be all set.

'er' I'm aware of that thanks, but it said it had no coverage and you had to refer to a map, which in fairness, isn't that useful!

I need to update my firmware (apparently) before i can get the sat nav to work well. I dont know how to
