Regular NW meet?

Hi Folks, i have been assigned to the NW meet section of the forum. I'm thinking a once monthly meet such as they have in Yorkshirecestershire, maybe 3rd Thursday in the month? I have checked and can't see any conflicting meets, was just wondering who may wish to attend, and where you are travelling from before we decide on a regular venue.

I do however think Preston, somewhere close to the Mway would be the handiest for most people

Day and time of month is fine. Location - suppose it depends where interested people are coming from

I'd be happy with somewhere between Manchester and Preston, say within 10 mins of the mway. Akin the location of the Malt for the Yorks/Lancs meet...

I was going to start one of these, I did do one but wasn't so sure of the location so have been trying to think of another if people wanted one. Please can it not be on a Thursday though, because as I have mentioned sooo many times I cannot make a Thursday as I am teaching. Maybe a wednesday? Even a Tuesday possibly?

Mascrat Manor pub, just off J21 M6 is a pretty good venue for a meet...

We already scrapped that one in favour of the swan 2 1/2 years ago!

I would love to get into a regular meet, my only problem is my work schedule as I tend to be away during the week. When I am at home or working locally, Wednesday would be the perfect night for me as it's the one night that I don't have any other commitments (apart from the odd Wednesday at the Hen and Chicken for bike night.

I'd be happy to help out in anyway I could Dave.
