|  Skid Control 27/01/07 Skid Control Day at the Old Liverpool Airport. Marriott Hotel, Liverpool South, Speke Boulevard, Garston, Liverpool L24 8QD Maximum allowed is 24 Day would be split up into morning and afternoon sessions. Depending on final numbers, 12 people in the morning session and 12 in the afternoon session. This would be to minimize waiting times. 2 skid cars will be used per session. The Skid Control Course will comprise off. 1. Classroom Theory Briefing. 2. Instructor Skid demos 3. Hands on Skid Practice 4. Instructor braking technique demo ABS and non ABS 5. Hands on braking technique practice. 6. Timed Slalom Event. The fun part of the course, this is a chance to enjoy putting Your new found skills into practice against the stop watch. The object of the slalom is to encourage drivers into a loss of control scenario to practice their skills and increase confidence in a safe and controlled environment. The am session starts at 9am, finish time approx. 12.30pm. The pm session starts at 1pm, finish time approx. 4.30pm. Cost is £60 per person. Payment wil be made to myself by paypal, bank transfer or in person. Full refund will be given in the event of member having to back out. Payment in full needed by 07/01/2007 so remember to keep some money spare after xmas.  When signing up please put next to your name what session you want to be in. Thanks AM Session. | Re: Skid Control 27/01/07 Very interested, however what cars are used? For example many of these courses use sierra's, and bmw's - rear wheel drive cars. Don't see a lot of point if this is the case when the majority of us on Briskoda drive front wheel drive cars. Just wanted to know - if it is FWD then i'm there! If it's RWD - I may still be there  .Sounds like fun either way.
