Default Three Sisters Karting 02-08-08 5PM

edit Its now booked for Saturday 2nd August 5PM start (event starts at 5.30pm)

I've organising a Karting event at three sisters in Wigan for saturday 2nd August at 5pm for a group of friends and I thought I'd envite you lot.

I need a minimun of 15 people for the event to go ahead (should easy get this without briskoda) but the maximum allowed is 40 so the more the merrier.

Race format

Its a Grand Prix Plus event.

You get:

5 minutes practice
3 x 6 minute Quailfying heats
7 minute final (Their are 2 final races, all the drivers will be split into two groups. Each group has a 7 minute final. eg 10 fastest in 1 group, 10 slowest in the other)

The karts are 160cc x2 and are capable in the rigth conditions of reaching 65mph.

Cost is £55 each if your interested let me now asap.

Refund policy
Depends. I need to pay for a minimun of 15 drivers. So if we have 15 drivers and someone backs out no refund will be given as I need to pay for a minimun of 15 drivers.

If however we have 25 drivers and someone backs out a refund will be given as we're past the 15 minimum.

Please add your name(s) in a list order if you are 100% interested/available for the above date. If their is interest I will post payment methods eg in person, paypal etc.

Now I've never been to Three Sisters (seriously) so I can't comment but I've been to Speedkarting a few times as have a few friends and this time we fancy something a little different so we're giving Three Sisters a go.

Payment Details

Paypal - fabokavrs at googlemail .com Please allow an extra £2 for paypal fee (so £57)

Sounds good John. Shame, I'm away at a wedding that weekend, but report back on how you find it. Wouldn't mind going at some other point

IMHO it's a nice track - not done karting on it but it's fun in a car, so should be even better in something smaller and lighter.
Potentially interested, just need to check schedules!

I'd have loved to do that but i'm at the Nurburgring then

Please do another one sometime as i'd be down there like my hair was on fire. I've done sprint racin at three sisters in a Pug 205 GTI and the track looked perfect for Karts - a bit small for real cars in my opinion but god fun.

3 sisters is a lovely little track, some good viewing area's to. I have spent plenty of time skidding on my **** down it when falling off my supermoto.

I will come along and watch and take some pics as I will be up at Lowton anyway with the kid's horse riding.

I'm interested and I'm fairly sure my brother and a few others will be as well. How many spare places have you got?

2. tdirob & 4/5 others

How much karting has everyone done before? Should I be worried about being the 'fat lad at the back'
