03 Octavia vRS Rear Parcel Shelf

Well sadly my vRS has got to go back to the leasing company soon and I was forced to order my replacement two months ago. So couldn't wait for the new vRS due October!.

Anyway, I asked my fleet manager if i could fit my own stereo to the car but was very evasive with the real truth. Meanwhile 3 amps, 1 12inch sub and 4 sets of speakers later I have a problem.

What it is, when i got sextons to do the install (Within 3 days of picking the car up) they had a problem building a rear parcel shelf. Cause of the angles it would work out too expensive. So i priced up a replacement rear parcel shelf and it war around £70. So it was more economical to modify the origional parcel shelf and so they did. They put on some e-series 150WRMS Pioneer 7/9 and re clothed it so you couldn't tell those big suckers where their.

My new car is going to be the Ocy Elegance FSI 2.0 HB. But due to the unique integration of the head unit with all the functions (Rear proximity display etc) I have decided not to put my ICE into the new car.

I basically just want a rear parcel shelf that will fit my vRS. And in return I will give the modified shelf so that all you base heads can put any type of 7/9 onto it. It even has a molex type connector so you can detach the shelf at any time. I will even throw in the pioneers. Don't mean to advertise, hope i do not offend anyone. But where else better to find out if any ocy owners want a pre-cut and clothed rear parcel shelf?

I test drove one of those WRC vRS back in 2002. a new skoda dealer in liverpool got hold of one, it had ESP and Xenon's etc. Gorgeous car but i had to have a brand new one and that one was pre-used. dont know which out of the 100 ever made it was?
