Driving to work his morning and 20 mins into the journey the Glow plug dashboard warning light comes on. Stopped, switched off the engine, waited a few mins and then re-started. Problem seems to have resolved?!? Coming home this evening. About 40 mins into the journey (and close to home) the light comes on again. I've searched on this forum but no luck. Any ideas what it could be and what can be done? Thanks to all in advance... Mark

Had this on my Fabia vRS before i sold it, called Skoda and they said check if any brake lights were out, there wasnt so the guy said it might be faultly brake switch or something ![]() So i took it in to Skoda and it was the switch, it took about 30 mins to fix and it cost £6 for the switch and £58 to fit it Robbing bas####sPaul.

It looks very much like the notorious brake light switch issue again. If you've got cruise, you'll find it doesn't work in these circs either.Run a search for a how to on replacement, and save yourself £60 for 5 mins work.
