| I recently bought a set of 18" OZ alloys complete with tyres. Had them refurbished and they now look mint - in only cost £100.00 plus my old set of vRS alloys. The tyres on them were a mixture of Michelin, Ventus and Nankang - 225/40/18. I will be looking to replace them shortly and was wondering what is the biggest tyre I can fit. Does anyone know whether I can fit a 255/35/18 or a 245/35/18 without it catching the inner arches? Looking possibly at Toyo, Dunlop or Falken. Cheers, Darren

| The front just about takes the 225's, what width are the wheels and does the car still have the standard suspension.

| I'm guessing they are 7.5 x 18 or 8 x 18. Suspension is standard at the moment but i do want to lower the car.

| The widest tyre you could fit is 235..this was for a 35/19 tyre... but you may get some rub on the rear. Personally I wouldn't go wider than 225 .....I got rub on inner front arch liner at full lock when car was lowered by around 40mm. That's around 1 fingers depth....at 2 fingers depth no rub at all. I'm running 225/40/18.
