| hi all.I have a prob with my airbag warning light on octavia sdi 02 that I need help with.I had to remove the airbag to fix my horn but when I put the bag back the light comes on,goes off for 2 secs the comes back on permanantly.does anybody no wot I have to do to fix or re-set it please? ![]() Last edited by loogi; 15-11-2006 at 17:30. | Welcome to Briskoda. You've posted this in the wrong section really but I'll try to help. Did you remove the battery -ve lead before you removed the aribag? It's probably just a case of having the fault code reset.

| Did you switch on the ignition with it removed? That would cause it hopefully just a light reset then. I know that when we have to replace the spiral links (the contact slip ring) they come wired together, when you fit them you detach the wire. Apparently if you turn them and they are not fitted they are completely messed up. |

| If it is simply a case that the fault code needs resetting, this can be done in a couple of minutes by a Briskoda member with VAG-COM software and lead if one lives nearby. Whereabouts do you live?
