Default Autochanger Woes

Does any know possible causes of my why autochanger doesnt work? When I press the button on stereo to activate it, it sayes CD00 and flashes off again.

but also it seems that there is no power in boot, the Autochanger will not eject the cartridge, no noises or anything happens when I press the button.

Incidently the lights inside the boot dont work too, so I am wondering if there is a main able to this area that has a fuse gone.

Any idead please of what to look at?

Power to the change will be supplied down the data cable to it from the head unit - I think?

It might be worth checking the data cable is actually plugged into the unit and that the area is not filled with water - generally caused by a junction in the rear windowscreen washer piper seperating.

I have opened the compartment and checked all the cables are plugged. No problems there.

maybe the data cable is not plugged into head unit correctly then? Only guess here as I have a pioneer headunit and have removed my changer!
