Default Bit of a Technical Question..

52 plate Ocy 1 VRS.

On cold start, it has irregular running, and when the Engine warms up, it goes.

Anyone had this before?

Cheers

I think it's a pretty common problem if you do a search.

Try unplugging the maf and see if that makes a difference or even cleaning the connector (search cage mod).

When you say is has irregular running, what exactly do you mean?

I should think its the secondary air pump. This will start for the first 1-2min when cold then turn off, your car should run ok after. The pump is used to warm the cat up on cold start, for emmisions i believe.
Search the forum there are even instructions on how to rebuild it.

Erm, kinda running on 3 cylinders, that sort or rough running.

We thought Secondary Air Pump....we have already unplugged airflow, and is still the same too...
