Default Boost leak, help with part number please.

Have got a boost leak which i heard and later found today.
I need help with a pipe part number please.
The pipe is joined to another by a wrap around sleeve and is one of 2 pipes which comes from the middle of the inlet manifold.
I have included a bad pic of the offending pipe ( there is another pipe to the left which is not pictured which i don't want). I have checked ETKA but it is only showing 1 pipe leaving the middle of the manifold but mine has 2 from the middle.
Thanks

If its the one on the right hand side of the inlet then i have just replaced mine... 06A103221BK mine cost £9.73 +vat. If that has gone i would also change the Y shaped one off the rocker box S06A103221BH £22.84 +vat

Thanks, can you tell me if it came with the other pipe, there is a sleeve which wraps them both together.
So is the pipe a crankcase breather or something to do with the inlet manifold?

Its something to do with emissions/breathers but it lets air in at idle so on mine it ran ****e when cold and would drop into limp mode too..

Dont forget you will need new jublee clips for it too.. either order from dealers at same time or get some from halfords..
I managed to DIY it after unbolting that black metal plate thing and pushing it out the way.

Yeah clips are sorted, i will acquire some from work
I had the black plate to the side tonight thats how i found it. Come to think of it i have been getting a smell of oil in the cabin on idle. Think i found the cause.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but could this be the problem with my brother VRS also? Sometimes its fine with full performance and sometimes its flat, with no boost. Following advice on another thread I've replaced the turbo outlet pipe for the modified one, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the DV for a 710n. But the problem is still there?

Vag-com will give you the answer, but a possible thing could be the N75 valve if your not getting boost

Could possibly be...
telltale signs are oily residue and crap round the dipstick area (ooo err missus) and if you can get your hand down there when the engines running and wiggle the pipes you may be able to hear a difference in noise. i noticed mine from a definate hissing that could be heard at idle, wiggling the pipes made the noise change a bit

See this thread for more info

Has the car been remapped at all and has the car got any fault codes showing? I'm assuming you have VAG com.

No its a stock car, it has the infamous (so it seems) 17705 pressure drop fault code. I had access to VAG-COM. However my own full version should be here tomorrow
