| Can anyone help or have had similar problem? My TDi is very sensitive to changes in the weather. One minute normal and very responsive next minute flat and no response. In cold its holding the power back as i can feel it.But after switch off and then on again the usual thing happens its all back to normal again for a while. As i drive this for 12 hours a day(Taxi) its constantly changing in power all the time.Back off the throttle whilst its flat and then it comes back to normal again etc etc. It has had a new air filter and MAF 6000 miles ago all was alright until this weather recently. It just seems so stuttery and sluggish in the cold but last night was mild and all was ok on and off all night. The only way so far is that i have been using Millers powersport diesel additive which helps alot but why should i use this when it ws alright before. Sorry to drag on about this but it gets on my nerves as the engine seems it does not know what the hell its doing. Its coming up for a 40,000 service soon so maybe Fuel Filter??? If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Thanks

| I find that my 110TDi can be affected by temperature. It seems to be more responsive when it is colder. As yet I have not found a cure. Might be worth loking at your air filter and seeing how mucky it is. |

| your car will change its performance with differenet weather, as cold air is more dense, which allows your engine to use more air, giving more power, in theory your engine should run better when its colder weather, and not as respnsive in say mid summer when the air is hot and thick. I would check the air filter breifly, and yes, change the fuel filter, for the sake of £12 its worth a try.

| Thanks for suggestions. First i will try the Cage Mod as i have read its had good results so no harm in trying. Soon due for 40,000 service so fuel filter will be changed. It was mild last night so it was faultless just seems don,t like cold weather(strange).
