Question Cheapest place to get coilpacks?

I still have the original coil packs on mine and they are the bad batch. I'm a bit pee'd off as they were supposed to have been changed by the delaership under warranty 3 years ago as one went when I bought it and apparently if they were all the bad batch the dealership was supposed to have changed all of them, not just the one that went.

I've called my local dealership this morning and they want £30 for one. Can they be had much cheaper than that?

Get onto Skoda UK, and ask them to sort it.

lol they told me to go and take a running jump basically. Just what I was expecting from Skoda UK to be honest.

I also told them the dealership never fixed my climate control under warranty which I repeatedly complained about as its never worked in 3 years but they kept telling me there was no fault. I recently got a diagnostics done after being fed up with it and its the air flow positioning motor and £200 to fix. So I asked Skoda UK so you are saying its tough luck then, I need to cough up £90 for 3 new coil packs and £200 for the climate control when it was supposed to have been done under warranty? He said yep.

Absolute waste of time talking to them and the same goes for dealerships in my experience.

Hi
Dealer I would have thought
We do them for £35.87 + VAT , but if you go to a dealer they will be cheaper than us as we have to post out
Dont go for non genuine
Or try GSF or Euro car parts

So, are the GSF/ECP ones of worse quality as theyre non-OE?

id say so as the bloke at GSF told me not to get them and they were always spot on with stuff for my Clio.

Also when i called euro car parts they didnt even mention the cheap ones so id guess that they are not worth mentioning

Its interesting they sell OE ones. Do they have the VAG markings on them and so on?
