Is it worth it?, of course it is and with any decent remap and no noticable downsides apart from invalidating warranty but as your car is well outside that the I say go for it

Pondered this question myself for far too long. Got Revo, love it and should have done it sooner.

Yep - do it, the car will give you even more grins
Do a search and you'll find lots of threads like this with lots of recommendations for different tuning places. Awesome are probably reasonably close to you I guess

Hi
This made me chuckle
If you can get away from chips the better (not yours Dave , yours are great)
But remaps , dont know of any cons with it
Pros are
Good fun
Big grin
More power
Could get better fuel economy
Big grin
Better throttle response
Big grin
We can do you a free trial on this too , so you can have a play
They dont take long to do either , may even make you a brew while you are waiting if you come to us

Hi

Awesome Sarah, does your company have a website and what do you charge for a remap on a standard VRS?

Also anyone know a good garage for serving a VRS in the Stockport area??

Thanks

Awesome GTI Store UK - VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda Performance & Styling
Here you go mate , as for servicing , why not have it done at the same time as your remap or trial? we can do it all while you wait , or we have a courtesy car
We are just 5 mins away from the Trafford centre IF you wanted to go shopping , myself I would prefer to stick pins in my eyes , but hey even men like shopping
Or just sit and watch a DVD or play a game in the comfort of the warm smart surroundings and bring your credit card and I can show you a few more toys for your car
Does that help?

Hi there,

Remapping via your car's OBDII plug in unit is what is being referred to. And Awesome give you 6 hours free upgraded drive time to see how much you will enjoy it. No obligation either. Honest! Certainly worth a call on 0161 776 0777.

Awesome Stage 1 is great value at £375+vat and Stage 2 is only £500+vat. The stage 1 will give your VRS approx 215 Bhp with no other mod's required. But the Stage 2 does require at least an uprated cat-back exhaust.

Best regards,
