. I have KW3's on my RS , first thing i noticed is it gripped better in low gears, floor first and the nose would lift, upsetting the balance of the car....wheelspin & steering all over the place....Not anymore,on a recent trackday the car cornered much flatter and gave better feedback . Steve | |

Sorry. Fosters makes you do awful things. But on a serious note I noticed coilovers on my Fabia DID have a positive effect on the handling under hard acceleration. A feeling of being better "planted" with no suspension jerkiness / wobbliness at all. Same applies for cornering - no lifting up of the tyre putting in less cornering effort, etc. Literally felt like being on rails. So I concur with Steve on those points. I would say go a little lower than 30mm though. Having said that, with the vRS Octy being quite low first off, its probably spot on. ![]()

| I've personally feel that the ARBs have improved handling more than my last set of coilovers did, but different car (4x4 v VRS). You have the rear ARB so go for it, pick wisely they could if not set up right destroy your handling. That said if I do much more it needs a set of coilovers, but too much and I loose compliance and stability in cornering on uneven surfaces (aka British Roads) ![]() Options are KW, FK and Bilstein(rumours) or H&R Personally I'm looking to H&R or Bil's.
