Hi

Mine is like that and Id like to know?

few things about your intake. do you not find you not got the same power when the engine is warm?

I had a Piper X one the same as you and it lost loads of power when hot so I went back to the std box. then I found a cheep CAI for the jetta on fleebay. goes into the bumper. not quite as much noise as the one you got but more power and feels better to drive.

only £40 worth a try. lol

bay looks nice though mate

I had a piper X and then went on to get one of the £40 ebay ones. Never happy that it filtered as well as the Piper X I got a 76mm 45degree silicon pipe from siliconhoses.com and now use my Piper X filter with the ebay CAI pipe. Also I drilled 8mm holes in the intake vent to provided more air to it. Works a treat

You got charged £20 for that!!!!!!!

I got both ours, (One for each car), for about £7 each from the local dealer. I know ours is for the Fabia but it looks to be the same size / type etc.....

Now either Skoda have caught on to people buying them and have upped the price or your dealer is expensive.

Cheers

Dave.
