Default door shut line

I am guessing it has been like it for a while, and i don't think it is a problem. The door on the front passenger side hangs a little low. The gap at the top where it meets the back door is bigger than it should be.

Is it possible to adjust the door?

The door hinge has to be slackened at the pillar and at the door in order to correctly align the door. Other measures such as aligning the doors upward, are of no effect. The door drops down again when pressure is subsequently applied.
That sounds like a job for an expert rather than DIY to me.

It may well have to go to a bodyshop. Somethimes a gust of wind can bend the doors a little or maybe there is an issue with the hinges.

Easiest way to solve it is a block of wood/rubber and a trolley jack. Open the door and jack the car up gently on the back edge of the door. But its not something for the timid.
