Default How low does your instant mpg display go?

Just out of interest and boredom.
When you all boot your car what is the lowest reading you get from the instant mpg display. Car needs to be fully warmed.
Mine= 5mpg

I think i've seen 7mpg when booting it in 3rd up a hill. Possibly less, but when accelerating that hard I try to keep my eyes on the road! lol

I remember seeing a fellow members car at the ring a few years ago. He had just been out to get some petrol, and before I set off on a passenger lap with him the range until empty was 75 miles, this was with a full tank of petrol.

As the range is calculated on how the car is being driven, im not surprised lol.

I have seen 9. Always seem depressing when that is displayed so try to avoid looking!

I've "only" managed 9.5, but that's from a TDi110; owning a vRS would be an unfair advantage theree!

I used to get it down to about 9 in my old Granada.

Just to be awkward, I managed 63.2mpg today on my way to work...

Someone on here, that I know, told me he had constant readout on his Octy II of 4.9mpg. Mind he was doing 156mph in remapped car in a certain country

exactly. I don't think you will be able to get less than 5mpg. Mine shoots down quite easily and would probally go less if it could.

I've had my 110BHP Diesel down to 4mpg.

To qualify that was full throttle, in the wet, and ASR switched off.
