| I have an octavia rs 2004, i invested some money in a turbo modification... GT28RS LARGER AND LONGER EXHAUST MANIFOLD AUDI RS4 NJECTORS WISECO FORGED PSITONS ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR TURBODYNAMICS BLOW OFF VALVE SETRAB FMIC SETRAB OIL COOLER, OIL FILTER ADAPTOR WITH THERMOSTAT BMC CARBON BOX FILTER LARGER MAF HOUSING FROM S3 GREDDY OIL CATCH TANK BORLA 70MM ENTIRE EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH CATALYST BOSCH PLATINUM SPARK PLUGS DYNOTECH ECU REMAP Everythin is working ok, the only problem i have is that when the car boosts, it does in very wierd way,... the boost can be 1.5 bar at 4000 and then 1.1at 4800, and then 0 pressure at 5000 and the suddenly 1.5 again at 5500, and then 1.3 at 6000... this is different in every gear it is mostly noticable at the end of third gear and mostly in 4 and 5th gear. i know its the n75, all my efforts to remove it completely, trick it by using a manual boost controller or anythin else have failed, if u try to do anything with the n75 the car will run 0.4 bar safe, if u try to put the manual boost controller at the hose before the watsegate, it will change nothing also. i dont understand what controls the boost after the n75 controller has been completely removed. Even better, the people who made my electronic modification told me that the n75 will b totally ignored from the ecu from now on. it doesnt seem to b working that way. IF ANY1 KNOWS HOW TO ACHIEVE TOTAL MANUAL BOOST CONTROL OVER THE ENGINE PLZ LET ME KNOW HOW. i cant drive like this anymore......... Last edited by Stelios; 10-05-2006 at 23:39. Reason: help! |

| Has the car been remapped to raise the boost and change the timing, or are you trying to do it all with a boost controller? Sounds like you're using BCV which confuses the ecu and messes up boost. Also, is that BOV a atmo one or recirc?

| A quick look at your spec would suggest the following is needed to be done: Fit a normal recirculating diverter valve. Get rid of the manual boost controller. Put the N75 in as it was standard. Get a proper remap. Also I don't see an uprated fuel pump listed on your spec, I hope you have one.
