| Get a drop in panel or change the standard filter a lot more often instead. Be careful though as if the oil from them (when over oiled) gets on the MAF it can damage the MAF. This is of course just my opinion.

| Hi In my opinion both panel filter and CAI will not make the MAF go. I have seen soooo many MAF`s go on TOTALLY standard cars that I think it is a myth. They say that the oil from some filters do it and some say CAI. I think it is just a VERY weak point on the whole of the VAG group. I did warranty claims for 2 Skoda dalers and they went on some under 3 years old TOTALLY standard. This is just my opinion. Sarah |

| I, like i'm sure a lot of others here, have my CAI for the noise The noise of the turbo/dump valve echoing down the pipework sounds great.

| Just want to add to Sarah's comments...standard MAF has be none to fail on standard cars....they are quite delicate. Additionally OVER OILED filters.....panel or otherwise...will bugger them up. Bigger air intake is really only necessary for cars with bigger turbos, although they can help with response...and definately increase DV and induction noise.
