| I have a 2001 Octy 110 TDI with about 69k on the clock (estate). Never had any problems until now where i ams finding a lack of power on the turbo. Turbo still whistles etc and pulls till about 3000 revs. After that it's dead, so am now having to go up hills in 4th where before i would have pulled no problem in 5th, and overtake in 4th rather than 3rd as more torque in 4th at lower revs, has become a nightmare. - any ideas as to what the problem is - could this be a pressure switch malfunction? - No warning lights etc, no noticeable change to fuel economy etc, just a lack of power ![]() |

| That sounds like your MAF sensor - about £60-£70 part exchange at a dealer. Or you can try cleaning it first - have a search on here about it, there are several posts covering it. Mine (110 TDi, 2001) has done the same thing! But will hit 100k miles on Tuesday |

| If not gsf and euro car parts do them on exchange or outright purchase for £65 or less. Try cleaning it first. I'm curious as to maybe the EGR being bunged up with crud from the exhaust, but not really sure how this would manifest.
