| Re: Mooing A new set of rear pads is the latest working fix applied by the dealers. Is the car under warranty still? If so, take it back to the dealer and they'll replace the rear pads under warranty. I'm not sure what the costs will be be if it isn't. Do a search for "mooing" on here, it's come up a few times now.

| Re: Mooing It's a pad hysteresis issue. As already said, this is best cured by a change of friction material. |

| Re: Mooing Most brake squeal issues are caused by one of 3 things, most likely in the general case first:- 1) Brake backplates need a touch of Copaslip. 2) Missing or damaged anti-squeal shim. 3) Pad hysteresis issue. The reason I said (3) first in this case is experience of rear brake squeal on the Octy vRS. |
