| Since I've had the Octy it's always done it's warm up process in the mornings but the last 3-4 times I've started it from cold in the morning this hasn't happened. It's been below freezing and still nothing. Any Ideas? ![]() Cheers |

| Is this the pump that starts up for a minute, then dies off ?

| i think so, sounds really weird then dies off after a min or so when first starts. I read the stuff on here before i go one so i know thats normal. Strangely it did it this evening when i left work but didn't this morning when it was like -1 outside. Does it mean the pump is on the way out? Also where is it, whats it called and how can i tell if it's on the way out? Thanks in advance |

| I think it depends on the engine temprature. I know if I use mine 1st thing in the morning, I hear the Pump, but then if i use it say about 1.00 i dont hear it. If i park it at work at 8.00 then leave at 4.30 it does use the pump. Depends on how long I leave the car undriven. Hope that makes sense.
