| Both cooling fans on my wife's 2001 1.9tdi octavia start as soon as the engine is turned on even from cold. Could any one tell me the location of the relay or fuses for the fans? Would be very grateful for any info anyone may have. |

| There is an electrical block to the passenger side of the radiator on the underside of the cross member. Both fans will run if the air conditioning is on. First check to see if they don't run when the engine is cold and the air conditioning is switched off. |

| If the aircon is on they should run at low speed, turn off the aircon and after a little while (up to 30 secs on my Fabia) they should go off. This is with the engine basically still cold so no need for the fans to kick in for 'main cooling' purposes ![]()
