Question Oil warning light!!

Help,
I've got a 51 plate Occi vrs, I was driving home from work this morning and the oil waring light flashed on and beeped . It came on for a few seconds and then went off, this happened about 3 times, any ideas what it could be??

Oil pressure?

I'd get the codes read by a dealer or VAG COM equipped person.

Sounds like oil pressure, but if it's happening on bumps rather than, say empty roundabouts, I'd suspect the connection rather than the sender as a first problem.

I had the car checked out at the local Skoda garage, turned out that the oil pump strainer was full of muck, causing the pump to pack up! I now fin myself £550 lighter off!!
