Replacement Tyres

I know there are loads of links etc across the forum but I need to replace my 2 front tyres on my Octi vRS. My rear ones dont need doing and I dont have the money to change them either, they are the standard 205 / 50 / 17 continental conti sport.

I am looking at either the Toyo proxie t1-r or the Yokohama AVS Sport.

Can anyone give me their thoughts also has anyone tried either of these?

Go for the AVS Sport of the 2.

Where you based? If it's oxford sort of area, drop piv34uk a PM, he may do you some Eagle F1s at a good price

Thanks. I will drop him a mail. Would there be problems if I went to 225 / 40 / 17 ? and kept the rears as 205 / 50 / 17

Go for 225/45 17 better "fit" than the 40s, cheaper too
