Default Rubbing sound

Getting a rubbing noise when I take a right hander in MY vRs I have changed the discs and pads as they where a bit corrided thinking it was that but still the noise is there any ideas

might be a wheel bearing or a cv joint! can you describe the rubbing a bit more?

Well it sounds like a grinding noise I have it in at the dealers and they said it was the discs so I changed them and I asked if it was a bearing but they said no

are you sure that one of your front brake calipers isnt binding? jack the front of the car up and try to turn the wheel by hand with it in nuetral, if is hard to turn it's probably a calliper binding. but you say that it only happens on right hand turn. normally if it were a cv joint gone west they make a knocking sound, so i would guess at a wheel bearing. if you do jack the car up to have a check, test for any free play in the wheel by trying to rock the wheel left and right, and top and bottom.

hi there i have an 02 4x4turbo estate, i have a rubbing noise when you turn left
or right checked brakes , pades,bearings,joints,everything,found nothing just passed mot ok / dont worry wait until something falls off.

Out of interest did the problem get fixed?
My Octy grinds on left hand bends. Just had the font bearing changed but its not that. 4 garages have no idea what it is.

I did'nt get it sorted but I think I know what the problem is I think it is the rear brakes so I'll change them
