The same or not?

Can anyone tell me whether this item is the same as a Vrs one? I modified mine but now the noise is getting on SWMBO's t1ts and she wants me to make it normal again...

Looks the same to me, although I don't recall seeing that fixed hose (on the right hand side in the 1st picture)
