| been away for 4 months, mate has been running my car once a week under my wifes supervision which is nowhere near how much i use it Now there is a funny spring twanging noise when i put full lock on left or right and if i go over a bump or cats eye etc there is a clunk from my front left Anybody have any idea's, steering rack??, suspension?? fook knows Ross WRC_068 |

| I would say broken spring, worth looking at cause if it is it will have broken at the top, and is probably now on the body of the car.

| Ask your mate if he heard a loud clang when he sat in it at any point... I had that a while ago, sounded like the handbrake ratcheted down one click... only about 100 times louder. Hope it's something cheap

| yep, same noise as my car, see post "skoda technical services" mine broke at the base of the spring. cost me Ł200 to have both sides replaced... how many miles has your car done ? |
