| 2 litre TD1 power loss. Running at around 70 mph on a dry motorway my 2-litre TD1 suddenly lost power and struggled to maintain 60 mph. After stopping, turning the engine off for a few seconds and restarting the problem disappeared but only to return 20 minutes later. However, after a couple of miles the problem corrected itself but with a simultaneous change in the characteristics of the engine which now had more marked step in its power delivery and even less go than usual below 2000 rpm. I trust that the dealers system will sort this out next week but has anybody suffered a similar occurrence and what might the cause be? |

| The answer turns out to be a faulty boost sensor. Found in seconds with the computer. |
