| Just brought it home, now has 30miles on it (service interval not showing yet!!!). Race Blue VRS Estate with dual zone, 18's, Maxidot, Cruise, Jumbo and elec rear windows. Looks better than I thought, probably because this one's mine. Got a bit of reading to do now so I can find my way around the gadgets. Have to say I'm feeling 'dead chuffed'. ![]() |

To be fair to myself I do ride an Aprilia Futura and my wife and son have Toyotas, Supra and Celica GT4 respectively so my life hasn't lacked for 'performance' when I'd had enough of sensible.

| I noticed the statistic in this post about an exclusive club of 2000 members. Is this in the UK or worldwide. Mines on its way but incredibly i've only seen one on the road (plus the dealer demo) so far. Do you know if sales are higher or lower than Skoda expected? How many examples of Mk1 did they sell?? |

There was a RR day in Portsmouth yeaterday where there were SEVEN OctyII vRS's in the same place at the same time, the most I think there have been outside a dealer network!. Last edited by Makefish; 21-01-2007 at 10:20.

| What is the car setup for from new - variable or fixed intervals. I asked my dealer and he hadn't a clue. They just wrote in the book, next service at 15k km / Jan 08, and printed underneath is service due at date above or when service warning thingy comes on, which ever is first. I only do around 15k km a year anyway, and alot of city driving so I suppose once a year is probably spot on. What oil do I get then to top up with during the year ? |

However, talking to my dealer on Monday when ordering a vRS TDI it seems like the vRS TDI is presently outselling the vRS TFSI by about 5 - 1 (from his dealership experience and interest) and the trend is expected to continue. A new wave of cool, perhaps? following on from the 'cool' of the Fabis vRS.
