| Your car looks spot on as it is, so I'd go for a remap. As to which one, I'm sure that someone will be along to advise (don't know a thing about remaps for the TFSI) - Revo seems to be a popular one, although I think there have been some issues around claimed bhp outputs from their maps and real independent RR outputs |

| Definately a remap and I have no hesitation in recomending REVO for the TFSI. Have a quick search and you should find some more information. Thread moved to a more appropraite forum. |

| Be interested to know what prices you get for remaps and with what company. Also with regard to wheels, I was thinking of maybe changing mine to a dark colour, black or dark grey. Reckon that would look subtle but cool. Would suit the Race Blue colour too. |

| the prices ive had back for remaps so far are derv doctor do a serial port re-map for £395 plus VAT. But the best option is the BSR PPC unit we offer this gives 248 bhp and 380 Nm of torque and you can revert the car to total standard form in minutes with the programming console. This Costs £525 plus VAT and from TSL We do a revo remap that fpr £399 + vat will take your car to 255 bhp and 285 ftlb of torque you can buy a switch to switch between the perfomance map and stock map for £149 + vat ive been waiting over a week for prices on wheels to be powder coated thats if i ever decide which remap to go for ![]()

| Don't get too carried away with the claims of power and torque, the quoted figures should be taken with a pinch of salt imho. That is not to say that you won't be dissapointed with whatever you decide upon but from my experience with the REVO software is that it's a first class generic remap (which incidently is switchable via the OBD port if you get the optional Select Switch). I'll think you'll find that REVO is in fact £499 +VAT unless they have revised their prices recently. ![]() |

| Hmmm, I think they might be getting mistaken with the earlier 1.8T prices. 2.0Ltfsi price is £499+vat |

| Had a remap done by Revo 2 years ago on my 1.9TDi L&K but had to have it taken off due to a judder that apeared in 4th and 5th gear. It turned out that they had increased the BHP to a point where the fluid clutch got warped! The companies that quote the highest BHP figures are not necessary the best, or the best for you car. Luckily fixed under warranty - £1,100 worth of repairs. Had a remap done again a few months ago by Pendle Performance, Martin was a helpful and knowledgable guy and I have no problems as a result. He only charged £200 and I now have around 140Bhp and an excellent spread of power. I would not recommend Revo as one it caused damage but two the power delivery was very violent. The Pendle remap gives very smooth performance and keeps delivering higher into the rev range making overtaking much easier. He even emailed me the original settings after the job was done. go to www,pendleperformance.com for more info. |

| Anyone else used pendleperformance on a 2.0tdi...very tempted cos of the price. Also liking the sound of smooth power delivery rather than brutal. As I had that done in my old Fiat and used to make my mrs pretty sick!
