| Firstly,I would like to thank VRStu for the advice about removing the radio, I was fitting the Dension Gateway 100. The radio came out OK, but you should really check the CD changer connector before ordering it, as it appears there are 3 different connectors. The Ipod will change track, but I still haven't managed to get the playlists sorted. However, I've recently had the performance drop off (engine running in safe mode) and I had the Mass Air Flow sensor replaced under warranty, which lasted a day, then the Exhaust Control warning light now comes on when the engine's warm and the car struggles to accelerate. My question is this. How long should I run the car with this light on (only comes on after an hour of town driving). I have to travel about 80 miles per day to work (all motorway)and the car is scheduled to be back to the garage on Friday. ![]() |

| Thats not an exhaust warning light, thats the Check Engine light. The car will have recorded a fault code on the computer, and this will need to be read to accertain whats gone wrong. The light has a multidue of meanings so I cant be more specific.
