Does anyone know if and where the fuse or relay is located for the front light washers.
Mine have never worked and I can't be bothered with the hassle of sticking it into
stealers for a day. yes a day, thats what they guy told me. fair enough it would be
fixed under warranty but they are about 20 miles away and won't supply a courtesy
car cos I didn't buy the car from them.....

Let me tell you, I'd be hapy to know how to disable front lights washers. Why? Because I keep them clean by myself and I found washers dangerous. In the night, dark curvy road, you're driving normaly and then you decide to use windshield washer. In the same time front light washer wants to wash your main beams. Well, it does in 3 seconds but during that time you stay in the dark. As washer jets rise up at the front of your lights, you don't see a damn thing. Now, in situation like that, I always have to remember to turn on fog lights before I get myself in adventure to wash my windshield.
I hope my fuse brakes too.

I find the light wash quite useful to stop tail-gaters. They don’t like a quart of frothy liquid chucked all over their screen.

I take it the pump for them isnt running then?

So with the headlights on, hold back the windscreen washer nothing happens?

Quite agree about the sudden black out when using the headlampwashers. Good idea though about using the driving lights as well. They do work well as a tailgater deterant.

Anyone care to give a quick how to use the headlamp washers. Mine seem to activate once the car has been started & the level pulled. But if I'm on a long journey no matter how many times I pull the stalk they won't come on again.

IIRC I read that if the were pulled for a couple of seconds or every 5th time AKAIK you activate the windscreen wiper washers.

Thats the way I understand it - every fifth wash of the windscreen results in the headlamps being washed, of course the headlights must be switch on at the time.

Mine doesn't seem to do it like that though, wasn't sure if it was because of how Daylight running lights set-up.

Mine only operate when the lights or on and then they squirt the first time the washer lever is pulled, not repeating this squirt until 5 pulls later and so on.
