| Hmm interesting to see that you don't need the light washers in Eire too when you have XID units... ![]() Guess you're happy with the results

| Nice one! Where is the rolling road, and what was the cost, if any? |

| Standard lights my friend! Yes very happy with the results. A remap will only add about another 30bhp so am quite happy to leave as is for the moment. |

| We had a VAGdrivers.net rolling road day at Westward Engineering in Enfield, Co. Meath. Cost was 60 euro. |

| I cant tell you how much this interests me at the moment, but let's just say that there have been more than a 'few' tests carried out over here!!. Can you tell me what RR it is and can you post up the printout or send me a copy?. Last edited by Makefish; 10-12-2006 at 15:49. |

| I have to say I like the VRs in Silver. Confirms what I have thought for a while - sure mine is putting out more than 198bhp too!

| Why dont you change those yellow turning signs bulbs to Philips Silver Vision. I have Silver Octy too and did change those bulbs at the front and at the back. Now it looks superb, no more "friden egg" effect from the main beam and back lights.

| The difference between a remap and standard is massive. Mine is standard - I drove someone else's Revo Stage 2 (apparently stage 1 gets you most of the way there, tho) Octy II and the urge in 5th and 6th was staggering. If I decide to keep this car long-term, I will almost certainly go stage 1 when warranty is out. Good as the car is out of the box, the remap makes it a proper bahn-stormer.

| If they load the code it will always be on there. I don't think they do a trial for the TFSi but you can buy it with a 30 day money back promise.
