Default Hatch dog guard

Just bought and fitted a dog guard to vRS hatch, must say a little dissapointed by the design. The parcel shelf can not slide down the storage runners with the guard in place so if we take dog anywhere ( on hoiliday etc) no parcell shelf to hide boot contents when dog not in situe. Also it renders the folding seats useless as the mesh extends to the boot floor, and don't fancy taking it in and out too often. Good job he his mans best friend, (but next one may be a smaller model )

For you canine lovers, I thought this was quite a good idea (keeps pooch out of the boot too)!.

Ahhh! there in lies the cunning plan:
Step 1: Remove and bin new dog guard.
Step 2: Replace parcel shelf.
Step 3: Place said Horrible Child in boot area with toys relevant to age.
Step 4: Close boot.
Step 5: Enjoy a relaxing drive with pooch bouncing away merrily in new 'backseat sling'!.

Sorted!
