Re: headlight covers

If you mean the plastic clip on protectors then the dealers do them - but other posts on here have not recommended them as standard headlights and pretty strong.

Re: headlight covers

Thought i would tell you that we have Skoda ones , i think they were about £40 for the pair from our Skoda dealer.I thought it was a good idea at time but the spots are more vunerable. As for when you wash the car it leaves water on the inside and looks naff. Whether this impairs the headlight beam i am not sure. No i would not have them again.

Re: headlight covers

On our Mk 1 Octy I had a pair of headlight covers which I fitted with the silver blanking adapters for continental travel (cutting out the low-beam kick-up to the left). So instead of sticking naff adaptors directly on the the headlights, I simply fitted the covers before heading off to France.

So does anyone know if Skoda do the blanking adapters for an Octy 2 with xenon dipped beams? If so, I'll go down the same route again.

Re: headlight covers

The Mk2 Octavia headlights aren't dear anyway, seen them as cheap as £60, so in my mind the expense of headlight covers simply isn't worth it
