Sorry if this has been asked before. Got a new Octavia vRS on Friday & the interior heater fan has stopped working today (Sunday). The light on the recycle air switch doesn't light now either. If anyone has any ideas before I ring tomorrow I would be very grateful

Check the fuse. The recycle won't work if the direction is to the windscreen.

Does the heater fan work at any of its speeds? I had a similar problem from new with the fan only working at its high setting ie 4. Turned out the rheostat was defective. Easily fixed 1/2 hour job on warranty ![]()

Thanks for the replies. First thing I checked was the fuses. It was working again briefly this morning - I suspect a loose connection. Its booked in first thing tomorrow. The recycle not working when it's directed in any direction & started working again & then stopped at the same time as the fan. Anyway should be sorted tomorrow. Thanks again for the replies.
