| Any difference in the spring rates, or are they simply shorter?

| My dealer has just looked up the Sports Kit which lowers all cars except 4x4 and cars alread fitted with sports suspension (vRS), by 30mm. Is your dealer getting confused do you think?

I mentioned the rumour of 20mm lower option in some mainland territories and he said if the above *is* a mistake he'd dig further. He's also looking into Maxidot retrofitting... ![]()

| Based on Maxidot retrofitting on the Fabia being considered high-risk and expensive by dealer (+ me) alike (at least in the UK) I would be surprised if the Octy one was much cheaper. The only thing in favour of it would be that the Maxidot is far more common on the Octy (Mk2) then on the Fabia (as you can order it without having to have satnav, unlike on the Fabia). Definitely interested in this too ![]() |
