| Pretty good assessment of performance and braking of the Octavia available on the new Skoda UK website. Being a tester must be a terrible job! I note the new site doesn't have much information on the Scout and 4x4 though.

| Well spotted London Les! This was a good review of Skoda products. They did not say a lot about the Scout but it was very positive - even the 1.9TDi Fabia was praised highly. |

| Leicester Police have had the mk 1 vRS for some time but I saw a marked 57 plate Estate yesterday. It did not say vRS on the back but it had the vRS wheels. Would be good to see more of them as we would be unlikely to get caught doing anything wrong as we all look out for Octy's and not so much for other cars. |

| Kent appears to have quite a few Octys, the estate seems to be popular with the Dog handlers. .There was a bit of copy / pasting in the report, and the brake test came out very well on the 1.9 Fabia.

| Saw one this afternoon - A Black Octy VRS, parked badly in a Bus stop on a 50 limit dual carriageway - who else but good old Plod?!?! Stuck out like a saw thumb, hardly the 'stealth' image they're looking for in an unmarked car... (West Mercia BTW)

| Nice find. Can you get copies for other makes/models? ![]() Interesting to see how they assess cars they get in. As for copy/paste, I think the first page on the particular model was more of a one-page overview, with the subsequent pages going into more detail. Steve

| I know someone that raced an unmarked VRS with his VRS. Luckily he just got a B***ocking. |
