| Has anyone seen or got a Fabia vRS or Octavia II vRS in Sprint Yellow? I want to get a Fabia vRS soon but not in Silver or Black, I might consider Red. Having checked brochures and Skoda's website Sprint Yellow looks a shade or two darker with a green hue compared to Lemon Yellow. Is it? I've tried my local dealer and they can't help yet, as they haven't got any cars in that colour and haven't got the colour swatch either. |

| If you do a search in the Fabia section i think somebody posted pictures of their Sprint Yellow Fabia some weeks back. Although not to my taste for myself it did look smart. |

| I've seen both a Fabia and the Octy in Sprint Yellow and have to say that it looks better on the Fabia than the Octy as that is quite 'slab' sided and too much!. It is very 'yellow' though and having seen one parked next to the older shade it is quite different, more in your face. The jury is still out for me on this one.

| This is what I thought - the Sprint Yellow is, shall we say, a stridant colour whereas the Lemon Yellow is softer, almost anemic. I'm very tempted, even ahead of the possible Limited Edition Race Blue Fabia. |

| The lemon yellow is more of a pastel, the sprint yellow is nice and bright. I actually really like it, and would seriously consider chosing that as a) its free and b) its better than red. |

| Saw it in the flesh so to speak on an Octy vRS at Prague Airport at the weekend, its bright and VERY yellow. Wasn't too impressed but prefer it over the dull yellow colour the Firby's come in. Last edited by justdoit; 23-11-2006 at 11:57. |

| Can you not phone a dealer and see if he has one? My local dealer had one of each in the showroom on Monday,

Definitely more stridant than the lemon Yellow on the Fabia to date. It also looks to have a different, greenish, hue to it as opposed to the orange hue to the yellow of the Ibiza, Rover 25, Porsche Boxter etc etc. I wanted to get up to Progress Bedford this weekend to see their Sprint Yellow Fabia but ran out of time, maybe next Saturday? | |

| I managed to get up to Progress Skoda just before Christmas; their other Sprint Yellow Fabia had also been sold; they did suggest they could contact the owner and borrow the car for me to look at if need be. Nevertheless I took the opportunity to take a test drive in a Fabia vRS and also Octavia vRS (as my budget could just stretch to one); a very useful exercise. Decided the Octavia will be worth the extra cost and reckon on getting the Sprint Yellow, or perhaps if I feel less brave the Corrida Red. Certainly, Progress Skoda were very helpful, personable and professional; I'll be calling to them in the New Year when my plans to buy firm up. |
