| Whats the problem? There are a few other issues that could be effecting the system.

| I guess three and four were then by the same test? Got to be carefull as the latter plugs dont work on 12v when testing them and they are activated individually by a glow plug control unit which are not very reliable. All the plugs I have seen for the 1.9 (105) TDi are Bosch. They will also log a fault code if they are not working.

| Bosch Number: 0 250 402 001 OE Number: N 105 916 03 Rated Voltage: 5 V But I'd double check with your local parts supplier first to make sure they're the right ones! |

| No worries. One word of note - spoke to a mechanic who regularly changes glow plugs on Mercs. Sometimes they can seize, and then break on removal. This means they have to be drilled out of the head which is very time consuming! Might be better to get it done at a garage as opposed to diy. When fitting the new ones, make sure to use mounting grease (made by Beru) to facilitate future removal. |
