Question Noisy air-con ????

When we got our Octy II (2.0 PD140 Ambiente) we had the dealer check a few things, one of which was that the A/C system seemed very noisy compared to our previous cars (the immediate previous being a Fabia vRS) and after just a few minutes use the motor became very noisy, sounding akin to a next door neighbour drilling a wall The dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong with it, but I wonder if they were told to fob us off as we were getting quite a few things done on warranty and SUK were probably sulking over the cost. As the weather today took a turn for the better it was the first time since winter we've needed to use it, and the problem seemed just as bad.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

had a similar sounding problem and had the A/C motor replaced under warranty

Should be quiet, with no discernable noise, save that of a normal fan, which wouldn't make anymore noise when the A/C is on, anyway.

I would insist that this is sorted out.
