| Dear all, I had a TFSI Vrs hatch then traded for a new L & K DSG 2.0 which was kindly modified by a head on shunt with uninsured driver. I can say catagorically how good the accident protection is in these cars as both airbags went off and the car had 11k damage and I was uninjured. So to the point do I order a Vrs CRD DSG or go for a Scout PD. Anyone any knowledge on the new CRD and if its any good etc. ![]()

| Sorry, I can't answer your question but I'm interested in the CRD you mention. Is this the new 2.0 170 engine which is replacing the current/old vrs tdi lump? |

| Acording to skoda website it is the replacement for the 2.0 PD 170. I have just read elswhere on the forum that paddle shift is coming in September so may be bad idea to get one now without!
