Any other owners of the new estate have a back window, wind noise problem.... right in the rear quarter window seal on the drivers side. Its been back 3 times and still it happens around 60-70mph.. very high pitched noise. Skoda are still looking into it. I know I have logged this before just wondering if any more estate owners out there have the same issue? Cheers alan.

Mine has been doing it from new. It is a small leak from the rear quarter window. You can hear this from the back and front. Its damn annoying at motorway speeds as its a high pitched whine. Hopefully my next visit will fix it.

This problem has also been reported on the hatch. Mine had it, fixed by the dealer (I think).

Dealer proved mine by using masking tape to seal the upright between the rear window and the quarterlight. Stick masking tape down the upright to hold the rubber seal against the glass then re-test drive the car. This was the cause of mine, you may also notice that if raining the noise isn't there because water fills the seal or if your car is wet from rain/washing and you drive on the motorway the noise suddenly appears when the seal dries out again. Mine was fixed by replacing the complete window seal. Still no probs 3 months on.
