| The local Skoda dealer here in India fills 4.5L oil into all Octy-2s after each service. Since the oil capacity is only 4.3L, the level is 2-3mm more than the MAX mark on the dipstick. But the dealer insists it is OK and nothing to be worried about. Manual says not to exceed MAX mark. Is it because oil (Shell something) is sold in 4.5L standard containers? Should I take it easy or bug them to fill less? The dealers here can't stand smartypants customers! I don't mind paying for 4.5L and getting only 4.3L filled. |

| They shouldnt be overfilling engines. Normally dealers use bulk oil anyhow, but even if they are 4.5 litre cans it doesnt mean they have to put it all in..lol.
