| I am being driven mad by a problem with one of the front passenger side parking sensors!! It is almost continuously (spelling!) on!! The constant beeping also cancels out the beeps from the rear sensors so I don't know how close I am to stuff anymore! Any ideas what could have caused this or what I can do put it right please? I have checked the sensors and the bumper and there is no sign that they are damaged. I have also given the sensors a wipe and that doesn't seem to have sorted it either!! Is it something that can be sorted under warrenty? Please help before the beeping drives me to tears!!!!

| I'd take a trip up to see Chris or Ben at Sparshatts Chichester if I were you.

| I had a completely same problem 2 years ago. Cause was front plate frame not centred for only a bit. After centring it everything was OK. |

| I've had a 2.0TDI Elegance Estate for six months and the parking sensors have been brilliant. But yesterday they went mad - on constantly. The only explanation I could find was that the car was parked in direct sunlight in an otherwise sheltered spot. The bumper around the sensors was very hot to touch. I wonder if the convection currents around the hot car were enough to fool the sensors. They were fine again 30 mins drive later.
