Default Part Identification Please

I am going to make myslef look a complete spanner now, but can anyone tell me what this part is called. Itis causing me no end of trouble the bright spark whohad the car before plit the pipe going to the engine in two and cleverly decided to tape it together.

Secondly how much brand new and what about used? Wheres best to get one from?

Probally dealer only part.Thats the Air Intake pipe from the air filter housing.Looks like a petrol engine?

Yep 1.6glx i estate, I bet I'll pay through the nose from a dealer, thanks anyway
